"FAST PACE"
Although it's a short listen, i've been bumpin the sh*t outta this EP all week. Majority of y'all know him as S Roc, 1/4 of Brassmunk, but this time homie has gone solo as his crooning moniker, Richie Hennessey. I always been a fan of Brass, so anything related, i'm checking out. So through a quick time spand of under 14 min. Richie laces these joints on some smooth soul, with a blend of futuristic funk. Production handled by Jake One, King Sampson (WHAT UP THO?!?!?), Thrysite, and Tone Mason.
uno.

Uh huh. More of that T Dot flava for datazzzzzzz!! Andreena Mill. You probably know her from X-Quisite or numerous SaukratesDrakeBrassmunkBigBlackLincoln records, but this time around? Her own solo mixtape...providing all the dope y'all need! On this project, she displays her range over classic hip hop beats and ridiculous original pieces. I'm definitely impressed!! On my T Dot sh*t...
You know what it is. I'm posting EVERYTHING and anything i get from these dudes. Slaughter is straight murder.
What up tho!!!!!! Today i wanted to shed some light on one of Toronto's most heavily slept on MCs, Nish Raawks. Some of y'all might know him from the legendary crew Monolith (Mono WHAT?!?!) , but on that dolo sh*t, most of y'all can't fuck with his skills. I've been a fan for a minute now, i mean, even waaaay before we connected. Don't believe me, listen to the joints below.
To my hometown ppls, no its not Keisha Chante. This lady hails from North Carolina, you may recognize the voice from early Little Brother records and she was featured heavily on "The Listening" LP. I love her voice... reminds me of Yummy Bingham. or Yummy reminds me of her... who ever came out first, lol. This right here is an ode to hip hop, rythym & blues style. TURN IT UPP!!!
On the real tho, it feels good hearing the 3 at it again. After all the bullsh*t, and Dilla's passing, i'm glad they decided to reunite. I was listening to a few Jay Dee interviews yesterday and he spoke on how the SV reunion album is gonna be crazy and how its the 4 of them now, ready to smash the industry. It's a shame that didn't get to see light... but SV is here to carry the torch!! Baatin, Elzhi & T3!!! can't wait for their new project..
takin it back to the good ol days.... the original trio.
So yeah, it seems EVERY other blog has got this joint posted before me...lol. This track was actually JUST finished last week and we straight hustled to get this sh*t out before Friday. Trust me, the last few weeks before a project drops is always hell. If its not this, its that... its like f*ckin ping pong with this sh*t. But it's all good because that's a part of the grind! Right now we're in the stages of tying up the loose ends and then it's wrap!! I'm real proud of this cuz i feel we both showed our versatility on the project. I ain't even gonna talk anymore, believe it when you hear it...straight!!
