as much as i rep the cold north, this one reason makes me even more proud. as a kid, i was a hardcore comic book head. EARLY!! from the x-men to the justice league, from the wildcats to gen13.. i was ON it. every tuesday, i'd hit up the corner store and pick up a new issue from the racks. it was a good hobby too because unlike action figures, it wasn't too pricey. so comics and sports cards were a good alternative to x'mas toys. obviously, WOLVERINE was my favorite (as everyone else) but aside from the adamantium bones, healing factor and ILL fatalities, Logan was/is Canadian. when i first found out, i was EXTRA hype. the only canadian super heroes i knew at the time were The Alpha Flight. and those muh fugguz were terrible. wack costumes, some sasquatch looking dude and on top of that one of the members Northstar was a flamer. uggh. dat nah mek it. Like the Joker, Wolverines origin was always a mystery but in time, with all the given clues and info, we were all able to put the pieces together. hence the new X-Men chapter on the big screen. i could go on and on and on about this but i'll leave it up to the flick when it drops in May 09. here's the trailer...
wow.
